About Astral Plane Studios

Astral Plane Studios is the brain child of professional mix engineer Josh Hayward, a graduate of Mediatech Institute in Austin, TX for recording arts and music business. Trained in Willie Nelson's old studio, Josh raised his skills exponentially. He has also worked on many consoles ranging from API to Midas and SSL and is able to achieve any particular sound you desire.

Josh believes that you must both have a COLLABORATION to succeed in this industry. What matters most is that the artist walks out with a smile as to how their music sounds; he does not let record labels or other individuals stand in the way between a successful album or just a single recording. Located in the heart of Central Texas, an hour from most major cities (Austin, Killeen, Waco, etc) Specifically Temple, Texas.

If you're from another state or even another country, don't be afraid to call or e-mail! With the advent of FTP, remote audio mixing can be done via the internet and sent right back to you. Here is a quote from Josh about his involvement in the music Industry:
